About the Author: Anne Biggs was born in Castlepollard, a mother-baby home in Ireland, and lived in an Irish orphanage in Dublin through her fourth birthday. Though in poor health, she was brought to America to live with her new adoptive family. She overcame many health issues and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in English Literature, and later received a Special Education Credential from Fresno Pacific University.
